India’s women’s hockey team entered the Olympics semi-finals. Vidya Malvade calls it ‘Proud Moment’

The Indian women’s hockey team staggered Australia 1-0 in the Tokyo Games quarterfinals on Monday to arrive at the semifinals of the Olympics interestingly.

At this actress Vidya Malvade shares her piece of euphoria by sharing a nostalgic post on her Instagram account.

You must be aware of Vidya, who played the part of Captain and goalkeeper in Shahrukh Khan’s amazing film ‘Chak de’. The film was a dark horse story where onscreen coach SRK mentors and rouses the women’s team to win the Hockey World Cup, incidentally beating Australia in the finals.

The way ‘Chak De’ young ladies depicted their enthusiasm, coarseness, force and energy in the film moreover the present match was a greater amount of like history rehashing ‘Chak De’! Gurjit Kaur scored the only goal in the second quarter as India beat World No.2 Australia 1-0.

Interestingly, ‘Chak de’ will complete 13 years next week, and the actor hopes that the girls bring back the gold medal.The team will now face world number 5 team Argentina on August 4, which defeated Germany in the quarter-finals.

This match is one of the biggest matches in the history of Indian hockey and will be remembered for centuries. Whatever be the result of the semi-final against Argentina, but the Indian team has created history. Now if they play without pressure in the semi-finals too, no one can stop them from winning the medal.
